Cookie Policy

Effective September 28, 2026

Effective Date: September 28, 2026

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Mint Soft EOOD ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website, https://sciseo.com/ (the "Website"), and use our platform. This policy provides information about what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control their use.

Optional cookie consent controls (accept, reject, or customize analytics and marketing cookies) are available only on our marketing website at https://sciseo.com/. When you use the sciSEO platform at https://app.sciseo.com/, we set strictly necessary cookies only to operate the service (sign-in, security, checkout, and similar core features). We do not load Google Analytics or the Meta Pixel on the platform. One exception to be aware of: when you allow marketing cookies on the Website, the Meta Pixel sets its _fbp / _fbc cookies for the whole sciseo.com domain, so your browser also sends them along with requests to the platform and to our API, where they are not read or used. Withdrawing marketing consent deletes them immediately.

2. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used by website owners to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

We use first-party and third-party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Website and platform to operate, while others enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance their experience.

Strictly Necessary Cookies: These cookies are essential for you to browse the Website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the platform and keeping you logged in. This includes Cloudflare Turnstile cookies and similar security tokens used to protect registration, sign-in, and public forms from automated abuse, and essential cookies required by our payment provider, Polar, to securely process your subscription sessions and transactions. Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the Service, you cannot refuse them without impacting how the site functions.
Performance and Analytics Cookies: These cookies collect information about how you use our Website, such as which pages you visit most often and if you get error messages. We use Google Analytics on our Website to understand traffic and improve our services. The data collected is aggregated and anonymized. If you allowed analytics cookies before starting a subscription, our server also reports your first successful payment (plan, amount and currency) to Google Analytics under the same anonymous analytics ID, so we can see which visits lead to paying customers.
Targeting and Marketing Cookies: These cookies are used to deliver advertisements that are more relevant to you and your interests. They are also used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement and measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. We utilize the Meta Pixel to track conversions from Facebook and Instagram ads, optimize ads, build targeted audiences for future ads, and remarket to people who have already taken some kind of action on our website.

4. Third-Party Tracking Technologies

In addition to cookies, we may use other similar technologies, like web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or "clear gifs"). The Meta Pixel falls into this category. These are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enables us to recognize when someone has visited our Website or opened an email that we have sent them.

5. How to Control Cookies

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies.

Cookie Consent Banner: Upon your first visit to our Website, you will be presented with a cookie consent banner. You can choose to accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or customize your preferences to allow specific categories (such as Analytics or Marketing). The same three choices are available in the cookie settings window at any later time. When you withdraw a category, its cookies and stored items listed above are deleted from your browser immediately and the related scripts stop on the next page load. We ask you again 12 months after your last choice.
Record of your choice: Each time you make a choice, we keep a record of it on our servers as proof of your consent: a random consent ID, the choices you made, the date, the page and your browser type. The record contains no name, email or IP address.
Browser Controls: You can set or amend your web browser controls to accept or refuse cookies. If you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our Website, but your access to some functionality and areas of our Website may be restricted. As the means by which you can refuse cookies through your web browser controls vary from browser to browser, you should visit your browser's help menu for more information.
Opting out of Google Analytics: You can opt-out of having your site activity available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Opting out of Meta Pixel / Targeted Ads: You can manage your ad preferences directly within your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

You can at any time on our website.
